Guests' Terms & Conditions
1 ACCEPTANCE
Party leaders must be at least 21 years-old and be authorised by all members in the party to make the booking and accept all present terms and conditions on their behalf.
Receipt of this signed booking form will act as acceptance of all terms and conditions.
Party leaders will be responsible for payments and for informing the rest of the party of arrangements.
Accommodation is only reserved for the persons listed on the booking information. All persons including any children under 2 years old at time of occupancy must be listed on the booking.
2 DEPOSIT
Payment of a deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. If the booking is less than 8 weeks before the first night of occupancy the full balance is required.
No confirmation will exist until the deposit, or full balance if booking is less than 8 weeks before occupancy, is received.
All balances must be paid to Marilyn Shelton in full 8 weeks before occupancy.
In the event of late payment we reserve the right to cancel the booking requested and/or apply administration charges.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing. We will offer a full refund or an acceptable alternative if required due to price correction.
3 RENTAL COVERAGE
Arrival must be after 3pm and departure must be before 11am else extra charges will be incurred.
4 ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE
Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy and to ensure that they take all belongings with them. On changeover days there is only time for a general clean and we rely upon the goodwill of our guests whose co-operation we greatly appreciate. Should the property be left in a poor condition, requiring more intensive cleaning, then this will be charged at £10 per hour and deducted from the breakages/damage deposit.
The breakages/damage deposit is £100 which will be refunded within 2 weeks of guests'
departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). This covers:
- loss of inventory;
- damage or replacement of inventory;
- non-return of keys/key-fob;
- damage to property;
- evidence of smoking within the apartment;
- damage to installations;
- extra cleaning due to neglect (including washing/drying pots).
We reserve the right for our management company to request entrance into the apartment at any time in order to comply with health and safety regulations.
5 CANCELLATION
8 weeks or more before arrival: loss of deposit;
8-4 weeks before arrival: loss of 50 % of total booking price;
4-0 weeks before arrival: loss of 100 % of total booking price.
No refunds will be given for any stays that are ended earlier than planned.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing/e-mail and cancellation terms will be applied from the date we receive the written cancellation.
6 SERVICE LEVEL
We provide service through our local management company while you are in resort.
Our local management company operates a guest call-out service to be paid for by the guest.
We will pay for a guest call-out only in genuine emergency situations that aren't the guests' liability and at our discretion.
7 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Under 12 year olds must not be left unsupervised in the apartment at any time. They must also be adequately supervised when in the property.
The rules of the community must be adhered to at all times. This includes the communal areas. Guests will be asked to leave the property immediately if any complaints are received through breaking these rules.
Facilities and amenities may be temporarily unavailable for operational reasons. If the accommodation offered is unavailable for any reason we will offer a full refund.
8 CHANGES
Any changes to a booking must be requested and expressly authorised by us.
9 FORCE MAJEURE
We cannot accept responsibility for any damage, loss, delay, loss of enjoyment or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist threat or activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, airport closures, bad weather conditions, interruption or failure of a utility service or the acts of a local or national government. We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time without notice.
10 YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Unauthorised occupancy (i.e. any persons whomsoever who stay overnight in the property without prior written permission from us) may result in the immediate cancellation of your booking. We also reserve the right to keep the breakages deposit for any overnight stays by unauthorised guests.
Guests agree not to smoke, nor to allow smoking, inside the apartment at any time. If this is not strictly adhered to it will lead to a deduction from the breakages deposit.
Guests agree to keep the property and all fittings, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property in a like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting and will make good (or will arrange with us to make good) any damage, breakage, or loss that may occur during the period of letting.
We will not be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of any person nor any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property which the guest or any other person may suffer or incur arising out of or in any way connected with the letting or resulting from any other cause whatsoever. We advise you to arrange your own insurance to cover yourselves and your personal belongings whilst staying at the property.
11 YOUR BOOKING
Your booking covers the apartment named on this Booking Form for all members of the party listed.
The rental agreement includes electricity and the use of the air conditioning. Since these can be very expensive, we ask guests to ensure that their use of them is reasonable. Please ensure the air conditioning is only operated with doors/windows closed.
For bookings of more than one week, a weekly mid-stay linen change is included. More are available on request at an additional cost.
12 BEFORE YOU GO
Please check all members of your party have the appropriate travel documents for travel. No refunds can be made if you don't arrive.
