Cabo Negro & Area
The fabulous soft silky sand of Cabo Negro beach is only 0.8km away. It has all the facilities you would expect including ice-cream kiosk, hot snacks, bar, showers & toilets - and is the beach the Moroccans themselves prefer.
Cabo Negro is also the home of the Royal Golf Course - so named because it is used by the Moroccan royal family when staying at their nearby summer residences. Fortunately it is also open to everyone else as well. It has 18 holes, is par 72 and has a very nice clubhouse!
There are two further resorts close by to Cabo Negro: Martil shares the same bay and is just 5km away. M'diq is on the other side of the headland, again just 5km. These are both working towns as well as resorts, where the locals eat at the many restaurants alongside the holidaymakers.
There are a wide variety of restaurants in Martil and M'diq and closer still, on the road from Cabo Negro to Martil, can be found Italian & French Restaurants as well as the relaxing 'Cafe de Paris' which also serves snacks & light meals. The French Hypermarket Marjane which is just a 10 minute drive away sells everything you would expect from a French Hypermarket and it is open until 11pm every day.

Tetouan
Tetouan's medina (old town) is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The inner city is traditional & full of character. Everywhere there are people performing their craftsmanship: weavers, jewellers, leather workers. The royal palace of Tetouan is situated by one of the entrances to the medina with a large town square in front of it. Street sellers ply their wares in the narrow alleys of the Souk (market) and all along the streets of Tetouan.
Ceuta
Spanish Ceuta is only 18.5 sq km and lies on the border of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean on the Moroccan side. The best way to see it is on foot. The area near the waterfront and the shopping area is nicely landscaped and attractive with many shops and cafes. A weekly market is held here.
Chefchaouen
Picturesque Chefchaouen is situated in the heart of the rugged and majestic Rif Mountains - the streets and most of the buildings in its medina are painted a brilliant sky blue. It is a favorite destination for backpackers visiting Morocco with its main square in the medina lined with cafes and filled to the brim with locals and tourists.
Tangier
Tangier is a fascinating Moroccan city with many of the things that travellers love - a sense of exotic mystery, interesting history, beautiful vistas and friendly people. It is an interesting mix of North Africa, Spain and France with its Souk and its Kasbah!
