Cabo Negro is also the home of the Royal Golf Course - so named because it is used by the Moroccan royal family when staying at their nearby summer residences. Fortunately it is also open to everyone else as well. It has 18 holes, is par 72 and has a very nice clubhouse!

There are two further resorts close by to Cabo Negro: Martil shares the same bay and is just 5km away. M'diq is on the other side of the headland, again just 5km. These are both working towns as well as resorts, where the locals eat at the many restaurants alongside the holidaymakers.

The French Hypermarket Marjane which is just a 10 minute drive away sells everything you would expect from a French Hypermarket and it is open until 11pm every day.

Tetouan's medina (old town) is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The inner city is traditional & full of character. Everywhere there are people performing their craftsmanship: weavers, jewellers, leather workers. The royal palace of Tetouan is situated by one of the entrances to the medina with a large town square in front of it. Street sellers ply their wares in the narrow alleys of the Souk (market) and all along the streets of Tetouan.
